Svaliava is a city in Ukraine. It is also the name of a klezmer song recorded by the band Shum Davar on 9 March 2022. The intro features the sorrowful Ukrainian song Chorna Rilla. The recording is dedicated to all of the brave people in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia who risk their lives and the safety of their families by fighting against such tyrants as Putin and Lukashenko. All proceeds from the recording will be donated to charity. The authors call on everyone to provide lasting support for the fight against tyranny and the renewal of free Ukraine.
